Activated Filter Media is a revolutionary upgrade with doubling the performance of sand. Its munufactured by recycled green and brown glass.The structure and chemistry of the glass are modified after activation process. This glass becomes self-sterilizing,fully bio-resistant ,acquires advanced mechanical & electro-static adsorption properties.

Activated Filter Media effectively reduces biological risks including bacteria and parasites as well as chemical risks. It serves as a reliable barrier against Cryptosporidium and Giardia thanks to its non-channeling.It inhibits bacterial incubation and discharge thereby lowering the bacterial load in the treated water. Additionally, Its superior filtration performance leads to lower concentrations of THMs.  AFM also highly effective in removing metals and heavy metals from water.

As a 100% bio-resistant filter media,it's self-sterilizing surface prevent bacterial growth.When its contact with water flowing through the filter, The water moleculed and dissoloved oxygen transformed into free radicals on the surface area of AFM(catalytic reaction). This helps to prevents bio fouling and protect from bacterial colonisation. Free radicals oxidise dissolved organic matter and heavy metals.
